I will be joining hundreds of people in the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) Guts & Glory 5K Walk/Run, Sunday, August 27, 2006 at UCLA.
Please help me to raise greatly needed funds to improve research and educational programs for the more than one million children and adults suffering from ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease such as myself.
There are many ways you can help.
1) Make a credit card donation by clicking on the link below;
2) Make a donation by mailing me a check made out to the CCFA;
3) Be a corporate sponsor and get your business information on the shirt I will wear during the walk and thereafter;
4) Sign up to participate in the 5K with me; or
5) Pass this e-mail on to friends, family, and employers.
Last year I raised over $3,000 from both individuals and corporate sponsors. This year I hope to increase this amount and raise over $4,000.
Together we can conquer these devastating diseases that target people of all ages in the prime of their lives. The goal is to collectively raise $1 million.
With sincere hope for the future,
Marissa
P.S. Remember, your contribution is fully tax deductible.

CCFA was founded in 1967.
Today Crohns and colitis affect more than a million Americans.
Approximately 30,000 new cases are diagnosed each year.

Support services and research programs
Nearly 81 cents of every dollar CCFA spends goes directly into research and educational programs.
CCFA consistently meets the standards set by such organizations as the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance (www.give.org). The foundation is among the top-rated charities in the American Institute of Philanthropys Charity Rating Guide.
