Cal State Long Beach Surf Team Raising fund for Orphanage in Indonesia
Long Beach, CA. Aaron Lieber in conjunction with the Cal State Long Beach Surf team is putting on a Surf premier to raise money to fund the Bantul Kindergarden Project in Indonesia. The surf premier of Taylor Steeles newest Film
Sipping JetStreams will be held at the Cal State Long Beach Auditorium, October 17 at 7pm. Cost for CSULB students is $1.00 and $5.00 for General Admission.
Aaron Lieber a Junior Communications Major at CSLB heard that for only $1,000.00 it was possible to build an orphanage in Indonesia. Having recently worked with the film producer Taylor Steele on his film premier in San Diego he approached Mr. Steele to see if it would be possible to premier his film at Cal State Long Beach. Mr. Steele agreed to have the film shown and contact several surf sponsors who contributed merchandise to be raffled off that evening.
There will be a raffle for a wide selection of surf related gifts such as: Dustin Humphreys book Sipping JetStreams, gift certificates for surf boards, Anon sunglasses, sandals, and more. All proceeds from the evening event will go to the Bantul Kindergarten project.
