Santa Claus is coming

You better watch out cause Santa Al is coming to town.

I will be at the usual places plus some new ones. I will be at the Marketplace shopping center in Long Beach every Saturday and Sunday from noon till 4pm between Thanksgiving and Xmas. All the Long beach area Farmers Markets as well. I am doing a ton of private and corporate gigs as well. Most of my Saturdays are already booked but I still have some available times during the week. Last year I did 80 events. I hope to match that this year.

TV and Commercials gigs

This has been a good year for TV and Commercial gigs here are some highlights.

This week I am flying back east to do my 4th appearance on a network reality show. Due to my contract that is all I can divulge about that. Let’s just say I am the comic relief for the shows doing some of my wacky characters.
I have done a great commercial for a stock brokerage where I played a wacky singing stock broker.
I was the first spokesperson for the new Disco Fever CD compellation for Time Life.
My local TV show OC’s West End was submitted for awards again this year.

Wedding Biz

Wow what a great year for weddings!!!

Singing Telegram Extravaganza

I have developed so many great characters that I now have about 50 different ones. My most popular characters are Elvis, Marilyn MANroe, Austin Powers, Frank Sinatra and the Birthday fairy.

Upcoming Comedy Shows

My 5th annual Toys for Laughs comedy show is scheduled for November 18th. I started this show as a way to give back to the community.

It will take place at:

Lakewood Elks Lodge,

12507 E. CARSON STREET, HAWAIIAN GARDENS, CA. 90716.

The Comedy Show is scheduled to start at 8:00 pm.

Admission for Comedy Show will be a $10.00 unwrapped toy - toys to be donated to homeless children for Christmas.

Dinner will be available from 6-7:30 pm. Choice of Steak or Chicken Cordon Bleu cost $8.00 Please consider donation your toys and time to this great show and great cause.

Katz in the News

As you all know I am a press hog. I try to grab headlines and promote myself in the local media. However this time it’s personal.

I was helping my city by serving on the board of directors of the local public access station. We were making some great changes and started enhancing the Station.

All of a sudden the city fired the entire board and assumed control of the TV Station. By doing this they violated the city charter, the bylaws of the station and possibly several state and federal laws.

I produce a monthly TV Show and on my show I condemned them for their actions and they pulled my show off the air. They violated my first amendment rights by doing that.

They didn’t know who they were messing with. I have been leading the fight in the local press providing information and commentary about this issue and have been one of the major issues in local politics. I have gotten the ACLU interested in the case and hope to move forward and continue to fight the good fight for truth, justice and the American Way!!!!!
