LONG BEACH ARENA, 300 E. OCEAN BLVD.
LONG BEACH ICE DOGS VS. ALASKA ACES
Only $10 for you and your dog! Sat., Mar. 17, 7 p.m.
The Long Beach Ice Dogs Professional Hockey Team and community activist Justin Rudd present a special evening of hockey at the Long Beach Arena when the Ice Dogs host their first ever "Haute Dogs Party" during the game against the league-leading Alaska Aces. Hockey fans and dog lovers alike are invited to bring their pooch to the game and sit in a special "Haute Dog" section devoted to canine guests.
Portions of ticket proceeds will benefit Justin Rudd's Community Action Team (C.A.T.), a 501c3 nonprofit of which Haute Dogs is a part. CAT provides quality events and programs to help children, animals, and the environment.
Plenty of "Haute Dogs" events are being planned for fans and their pets attending the game including a ceremonial first doggie puck drop. Games and fun begin at 6 p.m. and will continue during both of the 20-minute intermissions.
Dogs will be allowed to leave the building to visit a designated comfort area, and will be allowed re-entry with a valid ticket stub.
