VOLUNTEERS SOUGHT FOR 30-MINUTE BEACH CLEANUP THIS SAT.


(Long Beach) The 30-Minute Beach Cleanup will take place this Sat., Aug. 17 at 10 a.m. at the end of Granada Ave. in Belmont Shore. The 30-Minute Beach Cleanup seeks volunteers to help create a clean and safe place on the beach.

Volunteers will progress toward the Belmont Pier and the Peninsula. Bags and gloves will be provided. Volunteers are asked to wear shoes and sunscreen. The Cleanup will end at 10:30 a.m., followed by refreshments, donated by Duthie Power Services.

The 30-Minute Beach Cleanup takes place at the same time and location every third Saturday of every month.

Parking passes will be available and there is free parking along Ocean Blvd.
