The Long Beach Cares Campaign is a City of Long Beach-supported effort. Its focus is to raise funds for Long Beach, Mississippi, which lost its entire downtown area, including City Hall. Fundraising events will be held through August 29, the one year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. For this effort, all funds raised will be sent directly to Long Beach, Mississippi.
