Professor Elisa Gigliotti specializes in introductory and conversational Spanish and Italian. Having taught at several area colleges, as well as California State University, Long Beach, she is highly regarded by students and observing colleagues. Many of her students have gone on to pursue additional courses and degrees in Spanish and Italian and have credited Professor Gigliotti's courses as the experience which sparked their interest in furthering their studies in those languages.

The Professor's approach requires a great deal of student participation. Her use of this comprehensive technique encompasses both conversation and grammar. Her students respond positively to this immersion method and often find it especially beneficial to their understanding and retention. Though she requires full oral participation, she is also flexible and accommodating to students who have special needs and cannot participate in this manner.
Professor Gigliotti is a available for private, corporate and group tutoring.
