MJ's Static in the Attic is a CD that features mainly instrumental electronic Jazz/Funk music. MJ is an artist who believes in the art of original composition, and all songs contained on this CD were recorded in MJ's studio in Milwaukee, WI and were made using a combination of analog and digital tools. The music on this CD is rudimentally based on the 70's and 80's Funk, with influences of R&B, Modern Jazz, and Easy Listening. All tracks were recorded live to analog machine. There's no compression, saturation, or filtering of the recording. You get it raw right out of the studio. As the legendary Miles Davis once said, "Musicians have to play the instruments that best reflect the times we're in. Play the technology that will give you what you want to hear. Bad music is what will ruin music, not the instruments musicians choose to play."

Paul McMordie is a guitarist that definitely doesn't march to the beat of just one drum. Born and raised in Belfast he seems to have transcended the common boundaries of this rather unforgiving city.

Paul holds true to the quote applying new structures and harmonic overtones each time he plays.
Greatly influenced by John Coltrane, Pat Metheny, David Crosby, John Martyn, Michael Hedges and Van Morrison.

Recorded at MACH2 Studios in various live sessions over a period of one year the final quality evolved through patience and time.
With a unique blend of unusual notes and patterns the music becomes a guideline into this sonic landscape. At times the guideline gives way leaving gaping holes that can only be filled by the imagination. Allowing the listener to travel on a journey through Uncharted Territories.

Spin Dizzies
Closer to Hell
Spin Dizzies hails from Texas and has four members: Jenny Bowman sings and writes lyrics. She is also a registered nurse. Karl Bowman plays guitar, pedal steel and marimba on the CD. He has played in numerous Texas punk and rock bands since '80. He writes the music. He and his cousin Paul Bowman have been in the same bands together over the years. Paul plays CB700 drums and is a screenwriter and playwright. Tom Popieski has been with Spin Dizzies for 5 years, before that he played in numerous bands in the midwest. Tom plays bass.
Closer to Hell was recorded at Naughty Nurse Studios. While some of the songs have strong adult themes, the band does not consider them "patently offensive."
